Xingu River-Altamira 2011

The Xingu River is a river which rises in the Brazilian state of Mato Grosso, which follows the state of Para and ends near the mouth of the river has Amazonas.O about 1870 km long.

In the region of his home to the headwaters of the Xingu Indigenous Park, the first Indian park in Brazil, being the main source of food and water for a population of about 4,500 Indians living in the Park.
